On our RV trip / travels we went through and around San Antonio on our way to the coast but never stopped in the city. We weren't keen on staying in bigger cities during our travels but perhaps just day tripping to see things there. We never made it back to San Antonio on our trip but a few months ago decided to go for a day and explore The Alamo and the River walk. We walked and explored and then also took a tour by boat which we'd both highly recommend- tons of interesting, historical facts about the area, city and buildings. It was a lot of fun!

Fun day exploring more of the new state we call home....Texas. There's so much to do, so much to see all round us, under 2 hours distance. We are truly blessed with a ton of small towns under 30 minutes, a few larger towns under 1 hour and all 3: Austin, Houston and San Antonio within 2 hours. SO many places to explore. It will take us years and years or more to visit all the interesting, historical places around here!
